OA's are OK.

In the second one, unlike's are incorrect because, I guess, unlike should be used to compare

proper nouns.i.e it can't be used to compare an action such as businesses failing. Am I right??

The consumption of oil can be "26 billion barrels a year". Oil itself cannot be "26 billion barrels a year".

 

So OA "A" is correct.
