andres Posted July 28, 2006 Share Posted July 28, 2006 B it is The difference in the usage is based on the meaning of the sentence. regard as means "very mush the same", regard with means "about or concerning" The sentence is "The possibility of X is regarded with concern", that is why regarded with should be prefered.
