saramari
I am really starting to get anxious here....I know it's still pretty early (especially for English programs, since they have so much writing to sift through), but I just want to hear something, already! I feel like all I do is sit at work with my email pulled up and hit refresh, refresh, refresh..... How to pass the time?

emmie78
saramari, as you're using gmail setup pop3 with outlook (if you're using Windows). Then setup your Windows sound notification to play your favourite track when you receive email :). You'll also see an icon in the system tray if you miss or don't want sound notification. Set up outlook to check your mail every 5 minutes or so. Get outlock.exe [sic] which is free and put it in your startup folder so outlook runs in the background when you start your machine. Then you can forget about logging in or 'checking' for mail.
