icemanPhD
Does anyone know how this wait list works if we need to decide by April 15? Does this mean that for those who have multiple offers, should decide soon (if they can), so to free up spots for others before April 15? I'm asking because I've been waitlisted in several locations and would appreciate those who have multiple offers can free up some space (after they've decided where to go!) Really appreciate it! socialpsych
Hi iceman, yeah it's nice of people with multiple offers to decline those they're not interested before April 15th (and I plan to do so by 4/1 at the latest), but it doesn't always happen. AFAIK, you can pay the deposit at a school to which you've been accepted and then later request to be released if you get in somewhere else, although you lose the deposit. Good luck! possible_phd
If you're on a wait list, you may be admitted before, on, or even after April 15th. The timing will be determined by how quickly people commit or decline their admissions.
