cjyNel
Hello, everyone! I want to get some advice from you about which statistics course would be more relevant to preparation for Econ phd. Currently, I have taken a one-year sequence of undergraduate-level intro to probability and statistics. Assume that I am going to take two more statistics courses in the next academic year. Would you recommend a one-year sequence of master-level theory of statistics course (textbook is Casella and Berger's Statistical Inference) or two undergraduate courses applied regression analysis and time series analysis instead? Personally, I guess the previous one would be more helpful. But, I still hope to hear some opinions. Thank you!
Where To Go
Statistics. Casella and Berger is a good book if you understand what's going on.
