Nilanjana
I took the TOEFL CBT 2 years ago and got a lot of help from this forum for my GRE as well as the TOEFL prep. My TOEFL score expires next week. I am applying to PhD programs and although most schools do not require me to retake the TOEFL, a couple of them do. I do not have much time to prepare and am in a dilemma whether to take the iBT or the CBT. I am familiar with the CBT and am not really scared of the iBT but I have no idea whether the Universities are more comfortable with one over the other. When I called up a particular university they were not really aware of the new TOEFL. I would be really glad if someone could give me their opinion or suggetion regarding which one should I take. Thanks, Nilanjana
Tino
If you are in the US you have no choice. The CBT is no longer available in the US and Canada. If you do have a choice, take the CBT. Tino
