dhatura
Does anybody know how to make tables and figures as they are like in journal papers with MS word?
asquare
Most people use LaTeX to make journal-style tables.
Team3
...I think different journals have different formatting standards...but here is some general stuff Tables -- Working With Tables in Microsoft Word http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word/CH100626231033.aspx http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word/HA011876171033.aspx ...and I second the LaTeX if that's an option
untitled
R and STATA both have functions called outreg that can help in LaTex.
asquare
And in Stata, there's a command called "estout" that produces even better LaTeX tables than "outreg." It can take a little while to figure out all of the options, but the formatting is much more flexible.
