zerin2014
UGPA: 3.4 (Marketing major and Math minor, from a South Asian university) GRE: 320 TOEFL: 110 Maths : Calc 1-4, Linear algebra, Stat 1-2 (3.3/4 on average in maths course) Programming knowledge: None Publications : None Research Experience : None Work Experience : 2 years as Marketing Executive (With little use of statistics in work. Like few in house consumer behavior related researches) Recommendations: Fairly Good. Both from corporate and academic supervisors. This is a projection. not my real profile. However, I need to know if my plan would work out. My goal is to enter the data science scene. However, I realized this goal pretty late. After finishing with my undergrad. So, panning to go back and do the math courses. Would it be enough to get a funded offer from Stat/Applied Stat programs? Should I take some programming courses as well or should I try to learn it from online resources? Also could you recommend some program where I might have a shot at funded offer with this profile?
