cishwarya
Can somebody help me to solve the below questions in permutation and combination? Q1. A question paper has 6 multiple choice questions.First 3 questions have 4 options each, and next 3 questions have 5 options each. Only one option can be selected for any question. In how many ways can a person answer the question paper if: a.The person has to answer first 2 questions and remaining he can choose not to answer Q2.In how many ways can 4 different colored letters (red, blue, green and yellow) be put into 4 different envelopes(red, blue, green and yellow) so that atleast 1 letter does not go into same colored envelope? Given that one envelope can contain only one letter. Thanks in advance
