mguo2016
Hey guys, I'm preparing for interview questions, although I haven't heard back from any school yet. Last year I replicated some sampling and statistical analysis in Ball and Brown (1968). If you are my interviewers, what questions would you ask me about the replication? Thank you! YaSvoboden
Probably nothing. It speaks a little to coding ability, but not much. The more important questions from it will be how it influenced what you want to do and your understanding of research. But those questions are about a lot more than your replicaton. I submitted a Dexhow Dichev 2002 replication and it never came up.
XanthusARES
Yep, it is likely that they will not directly ask you anything about the replication. Rather, as Yaz said, they will ask you how your previous research experience informs your current research focus.
