    Hello,

I'm an Indian and I'm interested in doing Ph.D in finance from top 10 universities(USA).My dream college is Stern Business school.I'm currently pursuing my MBA(first Year).
    Profile:
Undergrad: NIT Raipur - IT (8.00/10)
Grad - IIM Trichy (3.2/4.33 till 2nd term- Top 25% of the batch(180 students))
    Macroeconomic - 4.09, Microeconomic - 3.57, Probability(QM-1) - 3.77, Corporate Finance - 3.57
    CAT 2015 - 99.06 percentille (170,000 applicants)
    I'm targetting a GRE score of 330+.

Currently engaged with two finance professors in my college.
Working as an RA with one prof and trying to publish paper in a conference or journal with the other prof.

I'm thinking of joining ISB(CAF) for one year after completing MBA.

Please provide me with suggestions on how I can improve my profile and better my chances of getting admission in top 5-10 Phd programs. Thank you for giving your valuable time to read/suggest .

Join ISB. Make sure you build good contacts with the professors. Start applying early whenever you do.
