tractable
Given toefl today, but 2 paragraphs portion appeared twice. First with 28 questions, then with 27 questions with different reading material. What this could be? which one was not part of test...
estaitra
Dont be surprised! Some people get 5 passages in total. Others might get more listening questions.
tractable
What a poor practice without the consent of test taker...
estaitra
yes. I took the test twice in total and in both tests I got 5 passages. However, when I finished reading and listening and came back for speaking, many candidates had finished speaking and they were in writing section, so there were less noise distractions while I was speaking. tractable
Logically the 1st set of passages must be considered for scoring or the ones where candidate gets high score. This is unfair, they should do this with paid service from students, not to play with test takers.
estaitra
yes I agree with you but they mention it in their so called "Buletin" that you might get 3 OR 5 passages. So they assume that all of us read that thing and agreed to it.
