Pharmainfo
Missouri Board of Pharmacy INTERN HOURS -[ a) EARNED IN MISSOURI - Missouri requires that a student that attends pharmacy school in the State of Missouri complete three rotations through the externship program of at least 160 hours each, for a total of 480 hours. This must be completed and documented by the school of pharmacy in order to be eligible to apply to take the Board examination. Verification of rotation hours must be on file with the board office when your application is received. If you have not met the 480-hour requirement at the time you apply, your application will be rejected. b) EARNED IN ANOTHER STATE - If intern hours were acquired in another state, the Board of Pharmacy in the state where the hours were acquired must provide this office with certification of at least 1,500 hours. This certification must be received (and must be on record with this office) prior to your application for the board examination is received in our office. http://pr.mo.gov/boards/pharmacy/Pharmacist_Examination_Application.pdf Your board says PLEASE NOTE: IF YOUR INTERN HOURS WERE COMPLETED IN THE UNITED STATES AND WERE EARNED BEFORE YOU RECEIVED AN FPGEC CERTIFICATE, THE HOURS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE BOARD. Pharmainfo
thank you so much looks like i have to take the english test and wait for my fpgee certificate before starting my internship thanks a lot! anytime :) :) Could you please tell me how many hours in Washington DC? Thank you very much in advance Washington State Board of Pharmacy Requirements • You must receive your certificate from the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee(FPGEC). • You must pass the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) which tests you on the knowledge, judgment and skills of an entry-level pharmacist and the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE) which tests you on both federal and state laws and rules. There is a Pre-NAPLEX practice examination on the NABP website. • You must submit a computerized examination registration form for both the NAPLEX and MPJE to NABP at PO Box 1057, Park Ridge IL 60068. $465.00 for NAPLEX and $185.00 for the MPJE. You may complete the registration forms and submit the payment by credit card (VISA or MasterCard) at the NABP website. If you do not have a credit card and/or prefer not to register online, you may request the paper registration forms by submitting your request and name and address to our Customer Service Center at csc@doh.wa.gov or by calling them at (360) 236-4700. Score transfer candidates take only the MPJE. • Your FPGEE score will determine the number of intern hours (300-1500) you will be required to earn. • The intern hours must be earned in the United States. If you register as an intern to earn these hours in Washington, copies of the FPGEC score report and certificate must be sent with your intern application and a non-refundable fee of $20.00. If you earn the intern hours in another state, that state’s board of Pharmacy must certify the hours to Washington State. https://fortress.wa.gov/doh/hpqa1/HPS4/Pharmacy/Documents/Foreign_Grad_App.pdf
