  1. I used Prontopass and APHA. I read/skimmed through APHA once, and then I studied prontopass.
  2. Thanks a lot!!! Yep, quite a journey. ;) My license is almost five months old.
  3. Sorry about that... Yes. I am now a licensed pharmacist in the U.S. :)
  4. I think (not 100% sure), the 222c means the third copy of the DEA 222 form. There are 3 copies of the DEA 222 Form. The 222 forms come in 3 color. I can't remember the colors.
  5. One of my friends told me that ASHP PharmPrep is designed for BCPS. However, if you have time, then you can use ASHP as a supplemental resource. (I, myself, haven't tried the ASHP's one.) Many students use APHA for Naplex.
  6. Are you going to take FPGEE this December? If the answer is "yes," then forget about pre-fpgee score. Go for it and focus on the area of your weakness. (You need to pass all sections in order to obtain a passing overall score.)
  7. I, myself, never use Kaplan Q bank. My friends used it and told me that it is good. Some said it is too hard; some said it is too easy. Most of them said the explanation is good. "Original" Kaplan Q bank is only available online.

Functional groups of drugs are important. You should know basic/acidic groups, ester, amine, ketone, etc. You can find these information in CPR.
  9. Don't go too deep in this subject. I did not get even one question on controlled substances in FPGEE. I did memorize all controlled substances schedules, when I prepared for the test. (You will need to memorize controlled substance schedules when you are taking MPJE.) FPGEE is about basic and broad knowledge.
  10. I would advise you to bring your own lunch. Regarding time, there was a huge clock at the front of the testing hall. However, if you sit at the back of the room, you may not be able to see the clock. As I remembered, they announced the time, such as one hour left, 30 mins, left, 15 mins left.
  11. Candy/chewing gum/juice during the test are not allowed. Water is provided. There was a big cooler for water in the testing hall. You can bring candy/juice/lunch/coffee with you, and take them during lunch break.
  12. 95..............40 ........70....... 30...............25 total parts = 65 Don't know how to explain it in wording. Use alligation method to solve it.
  13. "Do I have to separately apply for FPGEC certification or will they automatically send it to me?" Answer: Nope, You don't have to apply for a FPGEC certificate. NABP will send the certificate to you. If you want, you can call to follow-up on your case, to make sure that NABP have received your Toefl scores.
  14. I think, Lite means Florida MPJE.
  15. Yes, you can do that.
  16. It is not at 75 percentile. The passing score is 75 scaled score. It means a harder question weighs more points than an easier one.
  17. NAPLEX is administered Monday - Friday. Five days a week, two times per day. You can pick any day that the seat is available at the test center of your choice, once you get your ATT.

I think NABP releases the passing/failing scores at the same time. Don't worry. Your result will come tomorrow.
  19. I believe Appleton&Lange is for NAPLEX. (I did not use Appleton&Lange for FPGEE.) In FPGEE, you will seldom see patient profiles or brand names. Besides your list, you need Manan Shroff calculation for FPGEE.
  20. I think it is based on where are you coming from. West side or East side? Pick the city that is close to you. I took mine in New York. The test center was great, nice temperature, convenient, easy to find the hotel, taxi, etc. (That was 2 years ago). Bottom line is pick the city that is nearest to your location. So, you will not be too tired to travel.

I took the test on Tuesday (afternoon). I got the result from the State Board of Pharmacy on Thursday (9 am). I passed!
