800Bob Posted September 14, 2005 Share Posted September 14, 2005 A is wrong for two reasons: 1. "During the 1980's" is misplaced -- seems to be modifying "is estimated" instead of "to have left." 2. "Estimated to have left Mexico and added to the strain" means illogically that the $50 billion did two things: it left Mexico and it added to the strain.
