Dear Mr. Erin Billy,
English is not my native language. I am good at writing and reading :D, but I am bad in talking and listening [V]. I can't practice English with my friends or in the house, street, etc :(. However, I enjoy watching the American movies and series (shows), but I can't understand most of them without reading the translation subtitles :).
I am preparing to join some Australian university [^]. That university accepts both of the TOEFL and the IELTS certificates.
Nowadays, I am planning to join a preparation course in the British Council [^]. But for which examination? I DON'T KNOW!! :(
Thus, I am completely confused :drunk:. I heard a lot about the TOEFL. It's well known all over the world. But recently, I heard about the IELTS. It's special (for me) because it prepares the student for the academic style of English.

Which examination should I take? What is the right choice in my case? ??
Looking forward to getting your answer soon :).
Thank you :D.
Regards,
