  1. wow that analogy really put it into perspective... yeah you are right, I'm gonna buy the [tooltip=Official Guide]OG[/tooltip] tomorrow, and start right away. zErin you rock! Thanks!!!
  2. Yes that's true, but given the gravity of the GMAT on the caliber of the MBA you get, and therefore your income, frankly, I'm surprised more people don't study as long as this.:shy: And great advice Erin, thanks for the tip. I know you post reccomendations as to which books to use to study for the GMAT, but given my unique circumstances and the amount of time i have before the test, should I use a different variation of books? [tooltip=Official Guide]OG[/tooltip] is a no brainer, of course, but anything else?
  3. Great site Erin, and I really like how you try your best to answer as many questions as you can.:D I'm a sophomore in small liberal arts college in USA, and, just for the hell of it took a GMAT test a few days ago to see how I would do on it. I expected to get a good score on it because I heard that it was similar to the SATs and I had scored very well on those (1550) with basically no studying. Much to my chagrin, I got a rather disappointing score of 620 [|)]. Not terrible, but I want to get into a top ten program (actually shooting for top 5). I really want to get at least above a 750 on this test so I was wondering if any of you could give me what would basically be a 2 year plan. I'm gonna study for this test for a LooOOoOoong Time lol. :)
