Dear Friends Could any one please help me with the US University ranking list for Biological sciences for the year 2005 or 2004. If anyone has any clue as how to calculate the GPA scores please let me know since I need to do one to calculate my own as u all know how crucial it is. Regards NIlam

As far as I know if your PI is willing to take you as graduate student under him/her then he must be impressed and confident about your ability as a prospective research student, which means you must have strong base for your subject. In such a scenerio your general GRE score won't matter in any case you are confident with your Subject GRE. I just want some feed back as to how you find this position of staff researcher in this school and in this department. Since I am intrested in Ph.D but at the same time has a very low score almost like you in general GRE I was wondering about the possibility of applying to such staff researcher post and get enough wet lab exposure to back my application. Currently I am working as Sr Scientist in Systems biology based drug discovery company. But I want return to academia and research immediately so if there is any means know to you of finding a position of RA or Staff researcher. Regards Nilam

I have appeared for GRE and one to apply for Ph.D in biological sciences. I tried a lot but could not got hold of the University Ranking list for Biological sciences for 2005 or 2004.
