  9. Swaroop, Thank you for your answers. But I have had some problems. First,I see a plural verb still follows none. Ex: None of these pens works / work. But what I'm not sure is that none is used for 3 items, right ?:hmm: Ex: We had 3cats once - none of them is / are alive now. Second, in the second sentence, if D is also incorrect, should we choose A or D ? Or farmed family is a usage, too ?:hmm: Thanks in advance!:)
