Hi Renacaro, It is possible to take NAPLEX & MPJE in Texas without intership. No idea about other states. Hi, Is it true that chain pharmacies don't sponsor H1B if we do internship by volunteering? Did anyone get sponsored by chain after doing internship this way. PLS LET ME KNOW. Upperna.

Hi Indospurfan, Did you get sponsored by Walgreens? Here is my situation, I finished both NAPLEX & MPJE ( Nov 06 & Feb 07) for Texas and didn't get H1B sponsor this year. My problem is that my both exam score will expire in 2 yrs. I have to wait 18 months to get H1B for next yr. I can't complete 1500 hrs of internship in 6 months. If my scores expires at the time I complete my intern hrs after getting H1B, then I have to take Naplex & MPJE one more time and that too I am not sure whether I will get my H1B without valid NAPLEX score as you know Walgreens need all documents ready to apply H1B ( eventhough they don't acknowledge recieving it after you send as per their requirement). In btn, I want to finish internship by volunteering, so that I don't have to take NAPLEX & MPJE one more time even after passing it. But I hear that big chains won't accept you for H1B sponsor if you do your internship this way. In Texas, you have only Walgreens, CVS and Walmart. ANY SUGGESTIONS? Upperna.

Hi there, Is there anyone, who applied Texas extended intern license without preceptor information? Is it possible to get license without preceptor info? It seems catch 22 situation, when we approach H1b sponsors they ask for intern license, but without preceptor info we can't get license. Anyone in same boat, pls tell me what to do?
