Thanks a lot for all your replies. Do you think work experience (close to 3 yrs) in semiconductor testing will make any difference in the admissions? Anyways, I have overall aggregage of 75 %, with no publications, and research only at work place.

Hello All, I am Shiva from India. I am planning to apply for Masters in Computer Engineering, with specialization in VLSI Design and Testing for Fall, 2006. I have to close to 3 yrs of experience in the semiconductor testing domain. I have scored 1310 (740 - Q, 570 - V, 4 - AW) in GRE and 285 (5.5 - TWA). Here is my tentative list of Univs: 1. University of Texas, Austin 2. University of Massachetus 3. Iowa State University 4. University of Texas, Arlington 5. University of Texas, Dallas 6. Texas Tech 7. University of Louisian 8. University of Virgina 9. University of Florida 10. Virginia tech 11. University of Minnesota I need to cut down this list to 5 colleges. Any inputs on these univs wil be truly appreciated.
