Took the test today. Not too happy with the result. Not sure if I should be taking the test again. Verbal sort of killed me. I did not manage the time properly. The questions were very similar to GMATprep. Anyway, I will send more details later. Overall, things were going alright. Until I started to panic when I realized that I am left with 20 questions and only 30 minutes to go. Nonetheless, I would like to thank all of you especially Erin for hosting such a great forum, 800bob for his insights, CABS, Chix, Lawerence, CATG, Priety and the others.

I agreed with the approach. However, I am having problem with the fact that statement 1 gives a different answer than statement 2 does.

Agree with A. D. is wrong because it is sort of restating what the argument says. Hence, it is not an assumption.

Hmmm... what is that in C referring to? wild animals have less fat than fat of livestock fed on grain?? I am having a harder time accepting this structure. To me, B sounds better.

D is good. E cannot be correct. dollars, which forced.... the pronoun which here refers to dollars. However, it was not dollars that forced central bank to act. It was the currency's slide.
