In the earlier days boys and girls were made to attend separate schools as too much interaction with the opposite sex was not considered appropriate. In today’s age and time it has been proven beyond doubt that both the sexes are equal and that no sex is both superior or inferior to the other, therefore I disagree with the statement that boys and girls should attend separate schools. Co-educational institutions promote a healthy interaction between the opposite sexes. Allowing boys and girls to participate in activities together will encourage a sense of equality between the sexes which has been lacking in many places for a long time. Such activities can allow a healthy competition between all students with no sense of inferiority or superiority. Having boys and girls attend the same school will provide the child a better understanding of the opposite sex at an early age. For example a child may not be able to get along well with company of the opposite sex, because he/she may not have had a chance to be in such company before. As a result, the child may find it difficult to maintain any friendship with the opposite sex as he grows into adulthood and that could result in further psychological problems. In conclusion, today what is required are more attempts to emphasize the equality of the two sexes, rather that trying to create feelings of segregation. Making boys and girls attend separate schools would be a step back in time rather than a step forward, therefore I reiterate my stand that boys and girls should attend same schools rather than separates ones

Hi ' here is my essay: Topic: #018 What are some important qualities of a good supervisor (boss)? Use specific details and examples to explain why these qualities are important A supervisor/boss is one of the people who play a key role in determining the success or failure of any company or enterprise. A good/bad supervisor can be responsible for the up-liftment or downfall of a workplace. The most important qualities of a good supervisor according to me are: an ability to motivate & encourage, a keen sense of judgment & justice, sensitivity, good communication skills and last but not the least, intelligence. If a supervisor or boss does not have an ability to motivate and inspire his subordinates, he will not be able to bring out the best in the people working under him/her. There may be very intelligent people working under him, but without motivation and inspiration, they may not be able to give their best. Moreover there are always some workers who have hidden abilities which do not surface unless they are motivated, in such a case the supervisor would not be able to tap their potential to the fullest extent. A supervisor who does not have a keen sense of judgment and/or justice may be led astray by some elements in the workgroup who have ulterior or selfish motives in expressing certain opinions about the work or about other colleagues. The boss should have an ability to recognize these mischievous elements and take action before the work environment gets polluted. A good boss will have a sensitivity to understand the psychology of his subordinates at a time in which they may be facing any personal crisis. If the boss provides support to the subordinate in whatever way he can, he can inspire a sense of loyalty in the subordinate and he in turn will make every effort to give his best to the company. Good communication skills will allow the boss to convey his ideas to his colleagues and subordinates in a very effective manner. There will be no communication gap between what is required to be done and what is achieved. Intelligence is a factor which can earn the supervisor the respect of his colleagues and help to inspire others. In conclusion I would say that in every company or office team work is what leads to success and this team work can be enhanced and led to the pinnacle of success by a good leader. Use specific reasons and details to explain your choice. If I had the chance to visit a foreign country, I would love to visit Australia! I have heard so much about Australia from some of my friends that I would jump at an opportunity to visit this wonderful island country. The weather in Australia is considered to be one of the best in the world. The first thing I would like to see in Australia would be the Sydney harbor, I would visit the Opera house which looks beautiful in pictures. I would stroll along the harbor and visit the open air cafes along the Opera house and eat some delicious food with the fresh sea-breeze against my face. I would also visit the beaches and take in the sunshine. I would also enjoy visiting the Great Barrier reef which is the largest formation of corral reefs, which can actually be seen from space. I would like to experience scuba-diving and look at all the wonderful sea creatures and the underwater marine landscape. The people in Australia are said to be very easygoing and friendly so I think any tourist would enjoy visiting there. Being an Island country, Australia has some unique species of animals, birds and insects not found anywhere else on the earth. It would be an enriching experience to have a chance to see these unique creatures. The kangaroo is one animal about which I have read, and seen pictures of, but in Australia I would get to actually see this animal which carries its young in a pouch. In conclusion, I think Australia is one place which would provide a great deal to experience and enjoy, therefore I would gladly choose to visit Australia if I were given a chance to visit a foreign country. Hi An Min, I think your essay is very good , it can convince people that advertisement is good. I had to look hard for mistakes! My primary reason is that advertising is the best way for a company to publicize a useful innovation. For example, the Apple Company used its colorful and attractive advertisements to demonstrate the characteristics of its new computer model, the iMac. Advertisements that showed groups of brightly colored candy-like iMacs like candy communicated that the model was designed for people who wanted an inexpensive but versatile computer. The advertisements captured people'speoples attention and made the iMac very popular in Japan. Even today many restaurants and shops now display the iMac that they use for inventory and accounting to show your their customers that they are fashionable places. Hi, I was quite disappointed that my first essay posted on TestMagic did not evoke any comments or suggestions. I hope this one does. If I could have the opportunity to invent something, I would invent a product system which could dissolve tooth decay and build the tooth back to normal shape and function. With this invention the need for the dreaded dentists drill would be eliminated. In today’s world, there may be only few people who do not have a tooth related problem of some kind or the other. An invention related to tooth decay would be beneficial to people all over the world. Tooth ache is one of the worst kinds of pain. I would like to invent the product, which would be in the form of a solution or gel to destroy tooth decay. One could swish it in the mouth and it would selectively reach and eliminate the tooth decay. Then the second part of the product would be placed over the tooth and the portion of the tooth destroyed would be filled with it. My invention would catch the dental disease at an early stage and prevent the necessity for any further expensive and costly treatment alternatives like root canal treatment and tooth replacement. It would save a lot of money for the insurance companies too. In conclusion, if given the chance and opportunity, I would invent a system of dental products which would not only enhance the health of all people including myself and reduce their financial expenditure, but also benefit all medical insurance companies. Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice Hi, Here is my essay: The 20th century has been an era which has met with unparalleled success with regard to discoveries and inventions.There have been many discoveries in the past hundred years which have led to breakthrough inventions.Many of the discoveries have benefitted the whole human race and among them, the discovery which has been beneficial to the whole world and my country, India, in particular is the discovery of antibiotics which was heralded by the discovery of penicillin. Penicillin was discovered quite by chance by Alexander Fleming in 1928 from a mould or fungus. Later it was during the World war-II that the interest in penicillin was furthered and led to the formulation of the wonder drug. It was hailed as the wonder drug because before its discovery and use simple infections claimed the lives of millions of people the world over and in my country. Simple infections have plagued my country for decades . In fact I am given to understand that people would routinely have 12 to 14 children in the hope that atleast half of them would survive to adulthood without succumbing to infectious diseases. Therefore i feel that the discovery of penicillin has been the most beneficial one to my country.It has saved, is saving and will save the lives of scores of people in my country. I particularly feel that the discovery of penicillin is the most beneficial one to my country because I myself have been a recipient of this wonder drug as a child. I didn't particularly enjoy the daily needle pricks on my backside but it most certainly saved my life. Without undue exaggeration today i am alive and well to pursue my dreams because of penicillin. In conclusion I would say there is a saying in my national language which translated means that if one has life , one has the world. Therefore I would hail Penicillin 'the life giver' as the most important discovery for my country in the past hundred years.
