Hey ppl , This is Karthik from RVCE , Bangalore [ final yr CSE ] am applying for MS in CS [Computer Networks] hv 79% aggre GRE score 1430 /1600 V: 650 Q :780 but A.W.A 4.0 is this awa score gonna affect in neways ? Toefl 277 essay 5.5 I hv published a paper at international conference + internship at INTEL ( I am banking on this !). The univs I am considering : Stanford Ucla Usc SUNY Buffalo Texas Austin Ohio State Gatech Uiuc Purdue CMU ASU TAMU What do u think ! 1. Which range [ rankings ] can i look at ? Do u think I can go for the top rungs or mid range univs r better ?! 2. is it better to take a reco from intel or from prof only ? 3. Shd the SOP be a general one with a lil bit of humour nd creative writing or shd it be a very fromal nd concise one ?! 4. California univs r damn expensive , is it worth ? 5. in computer networks subject i hv got less marks though overall aggre is good, shd i mention abt it somewhr or just don bother abt it .
