Hey I just read this from U Mich's website:
Applicants who have earned a degree from an institution where the language of instruction is English, (i.e. U.S., United Kingdom, Australia) are exempt from submitting a MELAB, TOEFL, or IELTS score.

and
TOEFL score if you are a non-native English speaker. The TOEFL score must be less than two years old. The TOEFL is waived for any international applicant who has received a degree from an English-speaking institution.

It should be waived if you studied in Canada.
