hi..thanx everyone for sharing their ideas and motivating me to retake it..well as of now i really do not plan to retake it...i am 200% sure that my time is bad..thats what i can make out now! however, i am starting out with my application and might retake it in november..but thats sure that iam not planning at present. can anyone help me in telling universities where i can apply. i am sure not the 1-50 in US but 51-100. hows william and mary? also will my last score be a major drawback for me..i am sure that i can apply with my first score...is it? pls let me know. pls fwd me good links , if any, that have information about the rankings, average gmat and fees. thanx

hi..depresed once again..this was my post long time back..took my gmat once again..and what the heck...scored 490..(Q36,20V)..guys i knew that i was doing pretty well but why did this happnd to me..m hating myself..i was not tesnsed and was scoring in early 700 from gmatprep..and late 600's..this is not done..i really cannot do that bad..what to do now..i was all set to nail it.but when i saw 490..i was like... need help once again..i plan to apply now..as u must have read my 1st post in this thread i do not plan to apply in top notch colleges..asia, australia ,uk would do...my ex is good..and i can play around with it.. which inti do u think would take me..?? may be none....any help please..do all take best scores...? i really dont think that retaking it would make a difference..and m quite confident on that..it happnd when i was all set..and was scoring high.. look forward to your help...EVERYONE..

hey all..just took my GMAT...got a very very low score 570(q:44,v:25)...got very depressed after seeing the score...was scoring in early 600's in the prep exams but knew that i can make it to 700's..as i knew all the answers...it was just the tension that was not letting me to concentrate...i was smiling frm the v moment i entered the centre...made other ppl laugh ...(though was kinda tensed frm inside) but did not react to it as i knew that was my enemy.i was aiming for early 700's..but.. Essays:they went ok..cant say good but i think i can score arnd 4.5 or 5. maths:started with a very difficult question ...which took me 5 mins...but i got it rite...then q2 was also tough.which again took me 5 long mins(i think they were worth it)...then next 3-4 were moderate...u can rate it higher than moderate as maths is my strong point...so i dont find questions difficult..i just take some time to solve it..thats it! i got panicked arnd q 15..wen only difficult questions were coming..i wanted to do first 20 questions right to atleast score in late 40's ...but ran short of time and had to guess 7-8 questions at the end....i got so panicked...:rolleyes: english:tricky sc..then another tricky sc...then 2-3 CR..after that rc for about 20-25 lines..it was easy...i thought i was doing good and can try getting in early 30's but soon i got tired and my anxiety level increased and i was not able to concentrate...guessed 3rd rc...i even got 2 bold faced...durin the last 3-4 mins i guessed 8-9 questions and was so sad ...so tired ..cant explain...my experience was v bad...the erasable sheets were pathetic..i was not able to write with the marker continuously..it was capturing only half of the info..i asked them to replace it, which was better.. Guys, i never wanted to share my experience but thought that its quite imp for those who have studied much but get tensed very easily..i lost it just coz of my tension...pls get a lesson frm this... Second i really want help frm all the members here about the institute whr i can apply...m not that academically strong, kinda average but got arnd 4-4.5 yrs work exp..m looking for US,autralia and singapore as options...if not good but atleast ok kinda intitute..as m really planning to apply asap
