  1. aproximatly "3"? 3^(1/2)*3^(1/4)*3^(1/8)*3^(1/16)*3^(1/32)*3^(1/64)=3^(1/2+1/4+1/8+1/16+1/32+1/64)=3^(63/64) is it ok?
  2. 2 dipen01 in 1979 devision "U" contibuted 3 000 000 and in 1980 - 3 000 000? are trey equal? and in 1979 devision "R" contibuted 3 400 000 and in 1980 - 3 300 000? you should calculate it too. And if you think, that "U" should consider as right one, then the right answer is "two" - "C".
  3. 1. x^2-8x=(x-4)/3 3x^2-24x=x-4 3x^2-25x+4=0 x1=(-b-sqv(b^2-4ac))/2a=(25-sqv((-25)^2-4*3*4))/2*3=0.163 x2=(-b+sqv(b^2-4ac))/2a=(25+sqv((-25)^2-4*3*4))/2*3=8.17 2. 78/12=6.5 15+5.5*18=114$ 3. (x*1.5)*0.8=120 x=120/0.8/1.5=100$ 4. E 5. D 77=7*11
  4. for second problem: AB=x side of small sq is a area a^2 a^2 + a^ = x^2 2 * a^2 = x^2 S1 = a^2 = x^2 / 2 side of big sq is и we get 2 * b^2=(2*x)^2 S2 = b^2 = (2*x)^2/2= 2*x^2 the ratio is S1/S2 = x^2 / 2 / 2*x^2 = 1/4 ups... my mental calculation was wrong... when i wrote i saw a mistake... :-))
  5. 3 - d it is exactly if 2 * AB = CD
  6. 2-B... maybe E... but i incline to B... my solution not mathematical, only intuitive, if you give your mathematical solution i will be thankful. it is obviously that possible answers are only B & E... but how to chose one of them... 3-D i don't understand 4
  7. 36.... 9X4 tiles with length of side = 4

sorry anisharma but i understood you post partially if you want smth from me, please ask more clearly
  9. i think, it depense of how the rectangle is situate in xy coordinate plane i should sketch out rectangle and by using of Pythagorean proposition/theorem you can find the sides of rectangle. if you rectangle has parallel location relatively xy axis it is more simple

  11. the answer can be only D because you can bend your figure in left... or in right... and your lower triangle will not change...

sorry for 3 my bad English and lack of attention it is simple tha area of circle = pi X r^2 as r = 3 (triangle is equilateral) we get Area = pi x 3^2 = 9pi of top: yes my son sorry for 3 my bad English and lack of attention it is simple tha area of circle = pi X r^2 as r = 3 (triangle is equilateral) we get Area = pi x 3^2 = 9pi of top: yes, my son sorry for 3 my bad English and lack of attention it is simple tha area of circle = pi X r^2 as r = 3 (triangle is equilateral) we get Area = pi x 3^2 = 9pi of top: yes my son

why not... the area of rhomb is multiplication of altitudes short altitude is r and all sides = r we can get the length of long altitude , it is r X 3 ^ (1/2) / 2 and area of rhomb is r ^ 2 X 3 ^ (1/2) / 2
