  1. Guys, I attribute part of my score to everyone here on this forum. You guys have been very helpful. score reading - 28 listening-28 speaking - 26 writing - 28. I was under the assumption that ETS is offering CBT. But to my surprise, I realized that I can only give IBT. I had to drive to Pittsburg to give my test. Also I studied for exactly 10 days as I had to submit my score report ASAP to the business school to which i was applying. Vikram
  2. I got acceptance from Marshall school of business. Just wanted to know if its worth investing 80k. Profile GMAT 690 (48Q, 36 V) Indian IT 3 yrs work exp. Thanks
  3. If A were to be right, the sentence should be "However many US voters..." Much is wrong,,,countable and uncountable.
  4. C looks right to me. There is a "if" in the sentence, so it has to be "were"
  5. When to use Infinitives and when to use ing form. I am really confused. I mean i know the simple rules ( gerund should be used in place on non, participles act as adverbs and other stuff) but when it comes to applying it i get confused. Can some one please help me out? Here are some of the rules i read 1) Unnecessary ‘ing’ words should be removed, wherever possible. 2) Infinitives like ‘to include’, ‘to implement’ etc. are wrong on GMAT Instead use, ‘implementing’, ‘including’ (Which are known as Gerunds) etc. infinitives are usually formed to retain the integrity of the idiom which is used or to keep a sentence in parallel But still confused.
  6. and her lobbying for (there is no clear ref to "her". Frances Perkins’ is a possessive noun) . I am guessing it would be D. Help me understand
