  1. I passed NY Law exam couple months ago, and selling Prontopass notes and cards for $50. Thank you for looking
  2. I just found out that I passed both exams and I want to offer you study materials that helped me to pass them easily. For the compounding exam I used Dr. Cuties notes which I think are awesome. It reviews the compounding of main dosage forms AND gives you samples from past exams along with solutions and explanations. I have never attended a college in NY state but those notes where good enough so I can pass exam from the first try. I will include reviews notes from Albany college board exam review course as well as my own notes on what to focus to pass compounding. For the law exam I used several study materials. The main was again Dr. Cuties notes. It covers main area that you need to know to pass law exam. It easy to read, notes form, repeats main points that you must know. I considered it a core of my preparation, read twice. The other book that i used was Federal Law by Reiss. Very good book for the federal law which is main part of exam, read once. The other book that I have is Dr. Strauss's. Right after my law exam I wished I have read this book. It is very comprehensive, has a lot of practice questions in it. But it is about 300 pages long. I didn't have time to read it (had about 10 days of preparations plus full time job plus....). I had my MPJE exam after 3 hours of night sleep and still got 85, so you will do much better. I will include my notes on what to focus when preparing for exam. If you are interested in any of this material, please, PM me.
  3. I have brand new 2010 review MPJE notes for NJ. Very comprehensive and organised review. If you are interested, please, PM me.:)
  4. Cutie's lecture notes consist of 11 booklets (capsules, tablets, IV, TPN, suspentions, math, and pharmaceutics along with the practice questions and shortcuts) and 3 books named Licesing review Compounding. The notes are not very organized but the content is perfect. Prontopass MPJE review consist of ~50 quickcards and 11 pages/posters of questions and answers for NY state laws particularly(this is not prontopass for NAPLEX, this is for law exam only).:) They cost $135 each, I am looking for $70 for prontopass and $80 for Cuties notes. Thank you

  8. I believe that extended release formulations can't be crushed, unless manufacturer specifies it. About undissolved pieces of tablets in the stool: since it is extended release tabs, they made a polymer matrix with the drug incorporated into it. GI fluids get into matrix, hydrate and swell it. Then drug will slowly released from the matrix (based on pH dif). Even though the matrix is not rigit, it may occasionaly remains intact and excreted in the feces.(Similar to carbamazepin, nifedipine ext rel and others, actually, we need to consult patients about seeing empty matrix in the stool - don't worry if you see ... etc.)
  9. Excellent:) Much better than mine own!!! Thanks a lot and keep posting!

  11. Hi rubiagirl, I have found a private tutor here, at testmagic. But according to testmagic rules, I can't expose direct contact information, so I will send you a private message. Good luck for you:)
  12. Hi mariagpl, Thank you and I hope you will pass soon. Don't stop in your efforts, continue practicing and you will celebrate soon:) Rameses, They do provide comments for every section, but these comments are not personal evaluation but simply they cut and paste it depending on what mark you got. ( If you got good, your comments will be the same as mine). So you can't access your ability based on these comments.
  13. My speaking score was good-good-good. Probably the response on my first question saved me (topic was very familiar and easy to talk about, I provided 3 different reasons for 1Q). Or maybe, the rater got good impression from my first response and considered my false start as a minor mistake. I hope, you will be lucky enough to get generous rater and pass this tricky test.:)
  14. Thank you, Now answering your questions: My speaking part didn't go well, so I consider myself a lucky person. My first question went OK. But when I was answering my second question one student in the room experienced a problem with his handset (it was a loud pitchy noise that even I can hear it (poor-poor student!). So I authomatically turned my hand into this direction, and, of course, I lost all my thoughts. Then I had wrong start. When I realize it, I stopped for 1 sec and partially restated my theses. I lost valuable time and, therefore, had only one supporting reason. My third and forth questions were fine, I included most of the information, but I spoke with a very fast pace, since I got nervous (I thought that I have no chances to pass because of my clumsy second question). I got myself under control only on the 5 and 6 questions. I spoke more confidently and calmly and manage to finish on time (in all others I ran out of the time) Overall, I felt very depressed because of my second question. I considered that I have a chance to get mark 4 on independent questions, but after test I was full of doubts. About grammatical errors: I think I had some, but usually I have 2-3-4 in 1 minute of answer. My delivery was pretty smooth, except that I have tendency to speak very fast when I am nervous. ( BTW when I practiced for test I was concentrated on delivery mainly, I think content and occasional grammatical mistakes have less importance than delivery).
