  1. Task1. The table below shows the results of a survey to find out what members of a city sports club think about the club's activities, facilities and opening hours. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make any comparisons where relevant. Recently a survey has been carried out to estimate the degree of satisfaction of a city sports club range of activities, facilities, and also opening hours. Female and male respondents were taken separately, which shows how the opinions of the two genders differ. For example, almost one-fourth of the female respondents were very satisfied with opening hours, whereas there was only about a half of all men satisfied with the same thing. At the same time, only 5% of male respondents were dissatisfied with the range of activities. As to female results, the percentage of the very satisfied, satisfied, and dissatisfied respondents seems quite similar ranging from 30% to 35%. The figures of the club facilities did not differ much between female and male respondents, being almost the same. Taking it all into account, it can be inferred from the table that the level of satisfaction shows what is the most important for both women and men. Female tend to be less satisfied with the range of activities, while male do not like the opening hours. -------- So, which band (out of 9)? thanks........

  7. Hi! I'm taking IELTS on August 24. Some anxiety can be felt...;) Nervous mainly about speaking and writing (academic module). I have had university courses in Business English (graph descriptions) and Academic Writing (different types of essays and how to approach all of them). I have also taken TOEFL, where I got 607 (253 for CBT) with 5.0 in the essay. I need at least 7.0...aaaa practice, practice, practice... I don't know - maybe any suggestions, any advice or just anything to comment on?
  8. what is the maximum for ibt, and what is the minimum you needed? anyway, congrats.

  13. So, the thing is as follows - I am using different books studying for the IELTS exam. When I do Cambridge or Longman practice tests and exercises, I get almost everything correct. But when I tak Oxfird editions - It's seems like a disaster! Why so? Any explanations? As I assume that the test is one, and the difficulty level must be the same... And what about the real test? More like Oxford or Cambridge? ;)
  14. For the USA TOEFL is better, but you can take IELTS as well...Good luck!
  15. OK, actually I have received it some time ago...but somehow I did not have time to appear here... So-I got 607, and got 5.0 in the essay. Thanks to all of you! Now I am taking IELTS on August 24... See you in that section.:) And mind you - it's not soo difficult as you think it is, and the speaking section is not a onster after all.:))
  16. I don't trust this site (testbig.com) as it gives 6.0 (for TOEFL though) for essays that could get only 3.0 I don't know how the system works in this site.
  17. I got 607 in PBT TOEFL (equal to 253 in TOEFL CBT) with 5.0 in TWE. I am taking IELTS on August 24. I hope to get at least 7.5
