I haven't actually received all my results yet. However, the only decisions pending are from those universities where I had applied "just in case I didnt get any where else".
I am considering to apply once again. I would be thankful for your help regarding the following issues.
(i) Provided I get an MS-admit from a low-ranked university, should I accept it? Is it possible for me, as an international student, to jump to a PhD program at good school in the next spring or fall? (visa considerations)
(ii) Some universities have their MS application deadlines in late April. Is it a good option to fill out the application now? What might be the chances of financial aid?
(iii) Is there a way that I can find out what exactly was lacking in my application? I tried to ask it by email, but got no response. Would a phone call help? I think this information would be helpful while applying next time.
(iv) Is it better to work on an internship program, or join a school that offers me admission, if I ultimately have to apply again, and change the graduate school?
Thanks in advance for your help.
