NAPLEX Reinstated in all Prometric Testing Centers, Effective October 5 NABP is pleased to announce that the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination™ (NAPLEX®) program is being reinstated in all Prometric testing centers, effective October 5, 2007. Candidates who have been deemed eligible for the NAPLEX by their respective state boards of pharmacy will have the option of scheduling an appointment to sit for the examination from October 5 forward. Prometric’s customer service department began accepting calls from candidates for examination appointments and rescheduling of appointments on October 1. If a candidate has an existing appointment, either selected before the suspension of the NAPLEX or rescheduled by Prometric during the suspension, it will be the candidate’s responsibility to reschedule that appointment if the candidate desires an earlier appointment date and time. NABP cautiously estimates that reinstatement of the Georgia Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination® (MPJE®) will occur in late November or early December.

NABP Cautiously Estimates November NAPLEX and Georgia MPJE Reinstatement NABP announced to its member boards of pharmacy on Thursday, August 30, 2007 that the NAPLEX and Georgia MPJE will be reactivated as soon as possible when NABP is confident that both examinations are able to validly assess the entry-level competence of pharmacists to safely practice pharmacy. NABP cautiously estimates that the examinations will be reinstated by early November 2007, following review and approval by NABP. Upon reactivation, the NAPLEX and Georgia MPJE programs will provide valid, psychometrically sound assessments of candidate competence and will embody the highest standards of testing that characterize and define NABP and its programs. This rapid reactivation timeline is possible thanks to the strength of the programs and processes that NABP has in place and despite these programs having sustained significant damage that may have completely destroyed other programs.

Hi fftb, It seems that you have lot of doubts abt your CA license. First, let me congratulate for fpgee pass. This is the tip to get your fgpgee cirtificate as soon as possbile. Never call them. Just send them a fax to nabp. Explain the fact that you are in need of certificate because of so and so reason like you got an offer from some chain store which require fpgee certificate......bla bla. Send a fax in every 10 days. If you call them thats not a record. But if you send a fax they will file your fax and its record for request.so they will send your certificate as soon as possible. Next tip: Never send your application to CA board with out your fpgee certificate. If you get your deficiency from CA board it will take more time to process your application. Once you send all your docs. If CA board happy with your documents they will issue your license. It will take 6-8 weeks. Uusually they send your license in 4 weeks I got it in 4 weeks. Next tip: After sending your application ..wait for 3 weeks then you go to CA board website and go to verify license->intern pharmacist->enter your name, if your license is issued it will tell about your license no. they will update it everyday. So once the license is issued it will be updated on the same day in the CA board website. After one week, you will get your paper license. If the website says your license is issued, you can start your work as intern, need less to wait for your paper license. I beleive this info will help you. Thanks Kumar
