Hi guys I got admits from PennState Univ for MMM program (Master fo Manufacturing Management) and MEng in ORIE from Cornell University... Which one would be a better choice considering the job prospects after the courses? Both of them are 1 year courses. And I also got a scholarship of 4000$ from Penn State. Did anyone has any info regarding these programs???

I applied to PSU with the transcripts without any sealed envelopes. But they asked me to resend the trtanscripts in sealed envelopes, until when my application cannot be reviewed. I send them and the review was complete

Hi, Iam applying for Virgina Tech MSIE for Fall 2007. The online application form asks for the TOEFL score. But it has only fields for CBT and Paper TOEFL formats Cant we submit the TOEFL iBT scores for this? If so how? Thanks

Hi All, I have 2 problems with the Online Aplication to Georgia Tech 1) I have a problem with SOP in the online application of Georgia tech. The PART 4 of the online application has a column for SOP which supports 4000 characters. Is there any way to increase that? Can I submit the hardcopy (paper) of my Statement of Purpose? 2) Also in the PART 1 where we need to fill our GPA, they havent mentioned whether the GPA is for 4 point scale or not. Mine is for 10 point scale. How should I mention my GPA. SHould I mention my 10 point scale GPA or convert it to 4 point scale. If so, how should i convert. Please guide me Thanks a ton

Hi all, I got my TOEFL scores... But I have a doubt in reporting the score to the universities In the site, we are asked to select the univs and the departments from the drop down menus... I can get the univs easily.. but I couldnt some depts in some univs Ex: Management Science and Engg Dept in Stanford Univ. Can anyone tell whether is there any provision for supplying the dept codes also in TOEFL iBT score reporting?? Thanks a ton in advance

Thanks Peiann for the response. I wanted to apply for the MS program not PhD. I was worried with the top tier schools like Stanford, Columbia etc as my GRE is quite low for them. My LORs and SOP would be quite good I guess. And I have quite good Brand value both in terms of college (one of the premier institutes in India) and the company I work in ( one of the best product development company in the world). Will this be a plus point for me?
