  6. Hi all:), At last the GRE fever is over. The verbal questions were not hard but my timing was extremely poor and so had to finish 10 questions in 5 minutes and later on 5 questions in, perhaps, 2:30 minutes which also includes a RC. The starting questions of verbal were easy till the 14 th when the first RC (75lines) ended, but then after some SCs the second RC was a lot tougher and even the SCs were not easy. Hence, I had to almost randomly choose the last ten questions. Do I need to retake the test?? (engg.) [Please Reply] The first quant was very hard and I was not able to finish my last question. But the third quant was much easier and I finished it with almost 10minutes at hand. There were no question on probability or permutation combination. The essays were easy and except for the grammatical errors I made a well structured response. Thanks to all TMians for there invaluable support and infact my essay writing greatly improved by participating in the essay discussions here. Also all words were familiar to me and barron's would be enough for them. Thanks again to all TMians and Erin. Nitin
  7. I still think I'd have to guess E, though, because reproduction is a crime unless it is allowed by the copyright holder, and the crime is aggravated because it's done so often and for so long. Otherwise, there must be some other use of the word license that I don't know. How I interpret the statement is that the author is expressing concern over a practice, but when "aggravated" is used in the second blank it would imply a further worsening of an already bad condition. At the same time "licensed" fits in the blank without making any alterations and addition in the meaning of the sentence. Nitin
  8. Hi Erin, The site looks now much more lively as I can know who all are online. Thanks for the great site [bounce]!! Nitin
  9. Rina you were almost on the verge of solving. Just one calculation would confirm your answer. 79*82=6478>6400 [Can't avoid this calculation] and obviously 80*81>6400 Therefore, the net product 79*80*81*82>6400*6400 Taking square roots of both sides implies A>B Nitin
  10. Hi Neeraj, What were your PP scores (test 1 and 2) thanks Nitin
  11. I chose "dramatic" as "excessive" and "even though" implied more than just depicting. But, as dramatic means sth exaggerated to create an interesting work, it is not supported by the sentence and goes beyond what is stated. So, "graphic" is appropriate among the given choices. "discretionary" doesn't has any relevance here as nowhere it is stated that films decide according to their authority. Although this is true but is not indicated.
