  1. Yep, I know it is almost impossible for test takers to figure out which ones are experimental during the test. However, what struck me most was that the TOEFL given on Nov 15 had experimental questions. Did they solely appear in the listening section? Although I think that the test was quite a breeze, I was in a rush during the writing and reading sections. That said, I had no time to go over the essay and answers of which I was not so sure. Moreover, the test was also strenuous, as I hadn't prepared for taking it until 1 or 2 P.M. T.
  2. Dude, are you sure that 20 out of 70 questions on Listening Section were experimental and therefore will not be scored? I've never heard of such a thing before. T.
  3. Sorry, it takes me a long while to get back to this forum. But for it's already Saturday evening in Hanoi, I doubt if the book can help in any way. Sigh, I wish I had checked out this website more often. By the way, I don't mean to pry but you were one of the two students taking SAT II Writing at IIE's test center, weren't you? Ah ha, if so, I know you man. Aite, what a nice coincidence! Thank you for your kindness also. Drop me a line at tle1026@yahoo.it. It's a good idea if we can exchange some test materials. Take care. T.

  5. Dear Erin: I just have a question for you. I am preparing for SAT II Writing test; however, I get stuck with writing essays. 20 minutes for writing an essay by hand is something far too brutal to me. Do you have any strategy for doing well on this section? Thanks in advance, Trung Le.

For further information on SAT I and II you can check this website out: http://www.collegeboard.org
  7. Dear Ahmed: I recommend some books by The Princeton Review such as "How to Crack the SAT I." or "Word Smart" (this one is pretty good if you want to build an educated vocabulary, which is extremely essential for those who want to boost the score on the Verbal section). By the way, you can find the book named "10 Real SATs" published by the College Board for further practice tests. Hope this can help. Trung Le. P.S. All of those books you can order on line via http://www.ebay.com or http://www.amazon.com
