Topic :Some people believe that success in life comes from taking risks or chances. Others believe that success results from careful planning. In your opinion, what does success come from? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. Are you brave enough to take risks in your life or are you a good organizer who plans everything step by step? While some people become successful by the help of their chance, on the other hand, some people achieve their targets with considering every option and choice. Which one is the best one for success? According to me, chance is one of the very important elements of our accomplishments. Sometimes it does not matter how much you study, you could fail any way. Considering about a student who studied a lot for his exam, he could be ill or unmotivated. As a result, he could be unsuccessful no matter how much he studied or how much he planned to be successful. It is almost the same in business life. Being a person who plans his / her career carefully would not be a certainty for being a successful person. In some cases there will not be open higher positions for you in contrast to your careful studies. Similar to examples given above, taking risks is can be a very logical way for success. Considering of people who establish their own work, could be an exclusive example for taking risks and being successful. Furthermore I can remind you this proverb related to this topic. ”You can not be successful without taking risks” and also “Taking risk is the half way of being successful” To conclude my opinion, I can underline the importance of chance in our lives not only in business life. Use specific reasons and details to support your choice. “One day” is certainly not enough time for breathing authentic air of Istanbul. Being the capital city of 600 years old Ottoman Empire, made Istanbul full of exquisite historical places, which you would never forget once you have seen. But if you have just one day to visit this wonderful city, there are some alternatives for you to experience this beauty. Topkapı Palace will be a good beginning for you with its classical architecture, its treasury rooms and one of the best views of Istanbul. Very close to it, there stands the Galata Tower for hundreds of years with a splendid Goldenhorn view. On the other hand, if visiting different religious places attracts you my advices would be Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Both of which are among the best examples of Byzantium and Ottoman architectures with chapels, wall-pictures, minarets and wonderful gardens with tulips. Near them, there is a very important obelisk standing, which was brought from Egypt once upon a time. From a walking distance there is Yerebatan Cistern with statues of Medusa , where you can find yourself in history and hear the sound of ancient. Istanbul would not be same without Bosphorus for sure. Eating fish in a boat anchored under the Bosphorus Bridge is a must for a “one-day –visitor”. Cause a dinner with that unique view, will mean a ticket for coming back again for a longer visit. Further more it would be cheap, healthy and enjoyable. What I want to say is, Istanbul is the city, where contrast of modern and ancient buildings and liveliness of warm-blooded people together make you feel alive. Because of this “one- day- visit” will not be enough, but if you still insist on visiting just for one day these alternatives will be the best selections. Never forget that you are all welcome to visit Istanbul as long as you want :wizard:

I can give you little advice about your essay, 'cause I'm not very experienced either.. 1. You should practice your general grammar and structure knowledge 2. I need you to rate my essay and give me advice pls (: Topic : It has recently been announced that a large shopping center may be built in your neighborhood. Do you support or oppose this plan? Why? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer. I’ll certainly support the idea of building a new shopping center in my neighborhood. It will bring so many benefits to our neighborhood. Although some people will think a large shopping mall will be the source of traffic problem, according to me advantages of it will compensate this easily. Firstly, a large shopping mall will make the neighborhood alive, as it may contain cinemas, restaurants, entertainment centers with it. As a result of this, we will gain a place for spending our leisure time in a near distance. What’s more, after the shopping center is built, there will be more transportation vehicles to our neighborhood in order to attract more people to the shopping center, which will make our life easier. Secondly having a shopping mall near our home will mean saving our time, which is a very urgent problem of our lives. After the shopping center we won’t have to go far for eating, for cinema or for shopping. We won’t suffer from traffic while driving to far distances or we won’t be tired of driving. Moreover, a new, large shopping center would make our neighborhood more popular which means our neighborhood would be more valuable. For example, if you have a house of your own, you would profit with selling it. In addition having a shopping center would develop our neighborhood and attract new investments. To conclude my opinion, I strongly support building of this center. It will make our lives more dynamic. It will save our time and will easy our lives. As a result, it will improve our life quality with advantages and fulfill our absent requirements.

I was wondering whether it would be available for me to take it on September? If not when is the final date for that? I heard IBT is easier than CBT, is it right? Hello everyone, I just tried my first essay, there it is. :rolleyes: Could you pls rate it or give some advice about it ? I would be appreciate, thanks(: ( Person does not have to work with one company for his whole life )Do you agree or disagree? Why? Some people work with one company for their whole life while the others don’t. In my opinion people don’t have to work with one company for all their life. Maybe there will be some people thinking that being in the same company for their whole life is the most safe and the most faithful way. Opposite to them being in the same company for years will not be a guarantee for working there whole life in my point of view To begin with, there is the fact that most people are having some problems with their current companies. While some are not happy with their superiors, others might have some problems with their subordinates. Moreover some people are not happy about their responsibilities. So they mostly decide to change the company or like a few of them do, they keep on working for the same company as being unhappy and unefficient workers. Another fact to consider is that people can change their mind in time like they also change themselves. As a result of this they begin to look for new career opportunities which suit them better. I, for example, was thinking of working in production factories as an industrial / production engineer, but then after gaining some experience and knowledge about the sector and myself, I have now changed my mind and have decided to work as project engineer in which I see more suitable for myself. One point of view is that, as time passes people want to discover new things. For instance they want to see different companies, they want to meet different friends with different views, also they want to breathe the air of other companies’ environment. In conclusion, I should underline my agreement to this subjects, a person does not have to work with one company for his whole life considering the point that he can change his mind or he may not be satisfied with the existing job.
