hi guys , has anyone who have taken their exams on nov 10th in india , get their paper copy of score report from ets ? do we have to xerox the paper score report and send it along with our transcripts and other stuff ? all my applications are getting delayed due to this . i have already reported my scores and universities have got them . but should i send a xerox copy of the score report ? is it necessary ? rajesh from india

i took the test on nov 10 . this was my first attempt . i never studied. i just saw the format of the test to make sure that i know what type of questions i i will get . i stammered while speaking , i guess that's why my score is 20 . u dont need to study . just practice for speaking and speak slowly. infact during the test , another method for getting a good score for speaking section is is take ur time to finish for finishing reading and listening , and also listen carefully to what other people are speaking nearby who are sitting near u . all the questions for speaking will be same for all people sitting near u . i overheard 3 topics and i managed to think of some ideas so that i could speak on that topic and i got the same topic , inspite of that i stammered.

i appeared on nov 10 th . and for a good writing score write long passages.

hi guys , i got reading : 27 listening : 28 speaking : 20 writing : 29 total : 104 i am planning for ms in cs . i checked out a lot of top universities , their requirement is 80 + . what do u guys think ? is it ok ? infact i have already reported the scores to the universities. do i have to retake the test ? i will be happy to answer any questions .

ttkoh and in the reco forms given by the university , can the professors fill them by pen ? thanks ttkh for all ur answers .

ttkh, for online application--> some schools have stated that reco's must be uploaded by prof . for post application---> schools have given forms to be filled by professor . so ur saying that apply online , submit sop and other reuirements online but send recos letters + reco forms pinned together given by schools by post along with transcripts did i get u right ? and i have one more doubt guys , its given send 2 attested copies i.e transcripts to universities , so should i send both copies in the same cover ? or each copy in separate covers ? and what is the meaning of print or type ?

hi guys, every university has an online application process and paper based application process . but when i apply online , its stating that the recommendation letters sop etc should be uploaded by the professors. and the other option is by post , the universities have a required format for recommendation letters when applying by post . so can i apply online and send recommendation letters , by my college format , by post along with transcripts. ? or is it that only professors must upload the reco letters ? and every university is giving its own format for reco letters . can i follow my college format for reco letters.? i dont know whether to follow online method or by post method please help guys. online means , its asking professors to upload , it tedious asking my professors to upload them , post menas i have to write and fill all forms , etc ? can i mix both of them ? apply online and send reco letters by post ?

my background is engineering .(i.t)(70 %) i have cleared all papers . i have one more paper to clear. i have an arrear in the 3 rd semester . i will be writing the arrear exam on nov 07 . the results will be out in feb 2008 . by that time i will get provicial certificates and all marksheets.i have only 7 marksheets. am i eligible for fall 2007 ? can i apply for fall 2007 with my status with the arrear ? or will i have to wait for spring 2008/fall 2008 ? taken toefl-273 gre-on oct 12 th. please give ur honest opinion.i have no idea what documents , i will be required to send for application for ms. ? please tell me. please can u answer these two questions highlighted in red. thanks guys

hi guys , i am planning to do 12 month course in information and communications technology which is basically realted to logistics and sap . i am planning to do the course in singapore where the univ of south aus has a campus , i will be getting an australian degree . so will i get a good job in singapore ?. i have completed my engineering(I.T) and i have no work experience . thanks bye

hi guys i have finished b.tech (I.T) toelf score is 273 gre score is 1390 my acads is 65.5 % i had back logs of 12 arrears. but i cleared them. but the problem is these arrears kept repeating . so should i count the repeats as arrears as well ? i hope u guys understand . from 1 sem to 8 sem 12 papers as arrears . but i didnt clear all of them at once . so in my marsheets failed occurs 37 times that is 37 repeats totally . so should i count them as 37 backlogs ?. do i have any chance of getting into grad school for m.s in cs and what are my visa chances ? if so can u suggest any universities for me. ? if not is it better i work for some time and try to do my mba in us ? , say maybe after 2 yrs ? or can i do my ms in uk or aus ? what are my chances of getting a job if i do my ms in uk or aus ? thanks guys .
