  1. 1. It is an oversimplified view of cattle raising to say that all one has to do with cattle is leave them alone while they feed themselves, corral them, and to drive them to market when the time is ripe. (A) all one has to do with cattle is leave them alone while they feed themselves, corral them, and to (B) all one has to do with cattle is to leave them alone to feed themselves, to corral them, and © all one has to do with cattle is leave them alone while they feed themselves and then corral them and (D) the only thing that has to be done with cattle is leave them alone while they feed themselves, corral them, and (E) the only thing that has to be done with cattle is to leave them alone while they feed themselves, to corral them, and

  3. I belive " where w, x, y, z are prime numbers not including 1 and K. How many factors does K have?" is tha correct
  4. Congratulatoins Vivek. Great score man! Will call you soon.
  5. Straight forward 'B' In D "it" may refer to Asprin or irritation of stomach. "It" cannot refer to Asprin.
  6. IMO: E To calculate Standard deviatoin one require mean and all numbers (or variance of all numbers from mean). Even I and II together are not sufficient.
  7. y=(x-2)^2 - 1 y = x*x -4x + 4 - 1 y = x*x -4x + 3 ==> y=mx+c this can be considered linear eq with m=x and c = -4x+3 For a line when x=0, y=3 and for y=0, x=3 or x=1 Imagine a line ....The line can pass through I, II and IV but never through III.
  8. Find out a number just greater than a given number (990 here) that is a cube of the number. Take the cube root of that number to get middle number of theree. e.g. n(n+1)(n+2) > (n+1)^3 (not greater by far) 4*5*6 = 120 The next possible cube of int is 125 cube root of 125 = 5 that gives you a middle no. Also note that diff 125-120 = 5 is middle no. Similarly diff beteen 1000 and 990 is 10 which is middle no. Just to cross check your ans.
  9. Q1. 13 and 0 Q2. E Q3. Q not clear
  10. CACE Q4 was tough one. Remaining three were easy. I got confused between people more polished than he was more polished people than he However opted for "thrust into" "who had been thrust into" is redundent.
  11. I opted for D, C and E. just wanted to cross-check my ans.
  12. One more vote for E. Choices A, B and C are comparing 'failure rate for businesses' with 'mainstream American businesses' . All wrong. Choice D has incorrect Idiom rate of . Correct idiom is 'Rate for' as pointed out by vedigaurav. E is more concise and accure..
  13. Q1. x, y and Z are positive integers and sides of a right angle triangle such that x triangle? (I) x^2 + y^2 = 3^2 + 4^2 (x sq plus y sq equal to three sq plus four sq) (II) y^2 + z^2 = 4^2 + 5^2 Q2. x, y and Z are sides of a right angle triangle such that x triangle? (I) x^2 + y^2 = 3^2 + 4^2 (x sq plus y sq equal to three sq plus four sq) (II) y^2 + z^2 = 4^2 + 5^2 Q3. x, y and Z are sides of a triangle such that x triangle? (I) x^2 + y^2 = 3^2 + 4^2 (x sq plus y sq equal to three sq plus four sq) (II) y^2 + z^2 = 4^2 + 5^2
  14. Congratulations S. S and all the best for your applications.
