Hi, I am planning to apply to the following b-schools -Ross , U of Michigan -U of Texas Austin -U of MarryLand -Arizona State University My Background - Male, 26 yrs Undergrad education - 4yr Bachelors degree, University of Delhi. Major - Comp Sci and IT GPA - 3.9 GMAT - 740(Q49,V42) , AWA (5.5) Work Exp - 3 yrs by 2007 fall. 1 yr - Software Development in Insurance Vertical 2 yr - Software Development in Telecom Vertical Community Service - i would say decent. I have not yet figured out from whom to take reccos. Please comment on my chances and the choice of B schools Thanks
  2. Hi * I have been one the more reticent members of the forum, however i have been a regular visitor of the forum. I just took my GMAT today and got a 740, I wanted to break the 750 mark but just fell short. Nevertheless I am pretty satisfied with my score. Its not a great score so have not decided whether i should write a debrief or not, and even if i did write then probably it would be about how NOT to prepare for GMAT :p . Would like to just chillax for the moment, so cya all in sometime!

  4. D it is ! Read somewhere that "Due to" is used with nouns, and "because of" is used with verbs...Eg: He was defeated because.... BUT His defeat was due to... In this sentece, "economies continued strength" is subject so Due to is correct.
