Well my experiance is totally different than you all. I and my wife, we both do internship with CVS in the same city, in CA ofcourse in different stores. But we are enjoying our internship very well. We almost do all things in pharmacy, like filling , counceling , transfer, drivethrough, drop-off, pick-ups and ins problems. Staff is really nice and supportive, in fact lot of pharmacy decisons are taken by us or we are involved in it. Status of an intern is as good as pharmacist here. People look at us with lots of respect, and most important we never felt that we are foreign grads. We don't have any problem with schedulling , pay or hours. CVS environment is really nice and if I get good offer I would like to continue with CVS as long as possible.

Thanks for all your wishes , Yes I said test itself is best tutor because , no matter how many times you do practise at home or in classes, but at that time you dont feel that pressure as you feel while the actual test. And thats is why to test that what type of response comes out of your mouth in that situation ,, you have to take the actual test. My another advise to the people taking more than 5-6 times is that, start register for the test in advance( I know its waste of lot of money but...) I mean take the test after every 2-3 week. For speaking I think try to speak with little pace and donot speak loud, speak either in normal tone or like whispering. About writing, In 1st 2-3 lines take your stand (which one you like or prefer) then in next paragraf , explain why you took that stand and give example to support that (strong ex) Next paragraf second reson for support with another but little different kind of example. Then in next paragraf write one good thing about the another side of the topic and at end of this paragraf say that "but I still strongly believe that...(whatever your stand ) and complete Do write atleast 350 to 400 word count Next

After you receive your toefl score (as per the nabp requirements) it takes about 4-6 weeks to get your fpgec , and if you apply if ASAP to CA board , they will issue your license within 4-5 weeks.(this is an ideal case ). In CA, (if you are a PR) they offer from $26-35 as a grad intern depending on the city you want to go. Pay in north CA is more than SoCal. But they want a agreement from you that when you will become a pharmacist you have to work for the same chain for at least 1-2 yrs and of course they offer up to $20,000 sign on amount and pay is most likely double of the intern pay. I mean 52-62/hr.

Thank god my battle to get 26 in speaking is over now, I passed toefl iBT at my 11th attempt with total score of 109. Thanks to everyone who posted here in this forum and gave me lot of guidance about the test. In my opinion this test itself is a best tutor than anything else , the more time you take, more you know about it. Only thing is that after each time you have to analyse yourself and try to do better next time and donot loose your self confidence. We all are medicine/pharmacy or related students (I mean whoever wants 26 in speaking), just believe that this stupid test is nothing for us, its just we dont know how to pass this.. and never loose confidence. which test are you guys talking about? Toefl Ibt or TSE ?? if toefl than why in this forum??? and if TSE than I thought there is no more TSE in US . am I right??

Dont be disappointed my friend, you are not alone, actually you are in "disappointed peoples' " forum right now!!! So let me tell you about your score, you got more than required in listening earlier and now this time you got enough in speaking. that means you know everything very well, you just need to put everything together in one test. Think deeply about all test in very detail, (like what did you do last time which was missing this time ) also do some practise and register for next test and with confidence put you best effort .... my friend you will get it. Most of us we are trying to achive 26 in speaking so our confidence level is not achieved yet .. but for you... you alredy know that you can do it only thing is that you just need to do in one test only.

Ya same here ? what?? TSE in california ??? I live in LA and I took toefl ibt 8 times so far , I thought there is no TSE in US. Kghanta .. plz post the explanation about ur que?? what do you mean by India or CA??
