Here are my specs: I am an Asian-American male from New York City 26 years old GMAT - 660 (2nd time) University of California, San Diego GPA - 2.98 B.S. Management Science Work experience: 3 years experience working for a business unit of Viacom Inc. Rose to manager. Above average working experience that I can definetely write about. Oversaw the decline of the VHS industry and the growth of DVD industry 3 years consulting for Big 4 consulting firm (Accenture) - Promoted from Analyst to Consultant. Worked on SAP projects, business transformation, change management, and brand strategy projects. Chosen for firm-wide apprenticeship program. Extracurricular - Eagle Scout - Long time ago... Professional Chair in Coed Business Fraternity in University Spent two weeks doing conservation work in Brazil for dolphin researchers Volunteer in New York area, rebuilding parks, assisting disabled atheletes in NYC triathalon event Can you evaluate my chances for NYU and Columbia? Would you recommend me re-taking the GMAT until I reach the 700 mark? And how helpful do you think taking additional math/accounting classes would be for my application? Many thanks for your critique

  11. A - incorrect - "The ability of scientists"...."have become ever more accurate". Verb tense doesn't match B - incorrect - the "scientist" have become more accurate, not their "ability" C - correct D - incorrect - "Scientist have become ever more accurate in their ability". Wordy and redundant - Just say "Scientist have become ever more accurate" E - incorrect - "Scientists' ability to provide.....have become ever more accurate" Verb tense is incorrect.
