  1. One more thing -- I will have a new post on my site every Tuesday.
  2. Just wanted to let everyone know there is a new post up on my MBA advice page.
  3. I just want to thank everyone who participates in the Testmagic forums for helping me get through the GMAT test. I didn't post very much in here while I was studying for the test, but I figure I should give back in some small way. If anybody needs some tips or advice applying to B-school, feel free to check out my blog at: http://ultrambaguide.blogspot.com. My blog won't go in depth about the GMAT, but it will give you a solid overall guide to the whole business school process.

  6. If the ice of Greenland and Antarctica were to melt, the sea level would rise at least 100 feet or more. A) If the ice of Greenland and Antarctica were to melt, the sea level would rise at least 100 feet or more. B) Were the ice of Greenland and Antarctica to melt, the sea level would rise at least 100 feet. C) Was the ice of Greenland and Antarctica to melt, the sea level would rise at least 100 feet or more. D) If the ice of Greenland and Antarctica was melting, the sea level would rise at least 100 feet. E) Should the ice of Greenland and Antarctica melt, the sea level would rise at least 100 feet or more. Can't be A,C,or E because of at least -> or more Can't be B because Were is something that occurs in the past and "to melt" is something that occurs in the present It has to be D
  7. 2. Probability that both balls will be black: = (3)(2) / (10)(9) = 6/90 = 1/15 Probability that one ball will be black = (3)(7) / (10)(9) = 21/90 = 7/15 add them together to get 8/15
  8. Every once in a while I come across a post in this forum that talks about bold questions... Does this mean anything special for scoring a test?
  9. Specifically, I need to find a book that explains probability better. I haven't found anything in OG11 that talks about n and k factorial probability. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
  10. Where are you getting the 1/2(PR*5) from?
