I think I'm confused. :( I didnt mean to make things difficult, it was just that you said your "background is doctorate in life sciences.....". So I thought you were saying that you have a Doctorate....your Background is a Doctorate.... Right? No?

You have to take the GMAT even though you have a Doctorate already?

plvprasad, have you taken it before? I just took the GMATPrep and realized how much studying I'll need to do. Verbal wasnt that bad, but Quantative was HORRID. lol

Saw one for November....but not for December. :D I'll be taking my first GMAT on December 13th. I will be completing my First Masters program in May 07, and am considering going for my PhD. But realized that I need to take the GMAT in order to do so. I took the GRE previously, and scored pretty high on the Analytical portion which was my key to the Masters Program that I am in now. :D Based on the practice tests, I know that I have a LOT of studying to do. It seemed like the GMATPrep Test was giving me all of the easy quantative questions. I suck at math. Period. :doh: In any case, I was always taught to aim high...soo....I'd LIKE to get a 700 on the GMAT. We'll see what happens. :whistle: Any other December test takers?

Does anyone know if how we scored on the GRE is similar to how we will score on the GMAT? I noticed that the format was somewhat the same and I was curious to know what others thought and to get insight from those who have taken both. Thanks so much. :)
