Hi Kathy you did nice work. your essay range between 3.0 to 3.5. you have good hold of grammer and you have enough view points to explain your side. But you need to write a bit advance. I mean try and use some advance level vocabulary. other people correct me if I am wrong. Prame

Not necessary è also, such as If I have a restaurant beside my house, it will be really easy for me to go and pick up the food any time of the day. As it is a restaurant, I will have lots of choice on the menu. Even having a good restaurant in neighborhood will increase the market price of my house. Besides all this, a residential area has to be quiet and peaceful and a restaurant means lots of vehicles and people around. So, naturally it will make the place crowdie and nosy. Also from the view point of security it’s not good to have a restaurant beside your house. As, all the type of people will be coming there. Along with all this, every time their will be smell of food in the surrounding of the restaurant. Food smell is tempting when you are hungry but, one cannot bare it for the Complete day. Also in restaurants lot of oil is used for frying purpose, this will pollute the air around in this area. So, considering all the above advantages and disadvantages I will never like to have a restaurant in my neighborhood.

Thisa essay is good. As I mentioned earlier, you compared negative side and positive side, and state your point. I feel in this essay, you didnot provide strong supportive examples. Another thing, I would like to tell you is, when we talk generally, in English we dont need to mention he/she everytime. When I took TOEFL PBT in 2000, I read this clause in structure section. Whenever you are not sure of gender you dont need to mention he/she. it is understood when you mention he. well good luck Prame

Hi TOEFLPhobia you need to elaborate your conclusion. All you mentioned is positive side of machines. Mention negative side of machine. compare positive side and negative side, outweigh your side whether positive or negative, and mention why you insist that side. you could have mentioned following as in your conclusion. Machines can produce identical things of large quantity with best quality precisely. However, machines has rendered people’s lives less active and hence resulted into health consequences. Because I am aware of consequences of inactive life and I am able to take care of it, due to capabilities of machines I would like to do things with the use of machines. thats what I feel. Hi Rupesh I got directions in my other postings. follow http://www.freizeit.co.in/toefl-b183.0/ this site and download books you need. start with the book of ETS "Official study guide for TOEFL iBT". atleast write one independent and integrated task. and practise speaking on different topics.
