it's good to have some one who is giving me sincere advice and counselling :tup: but um confusd here a bit. am i suppose to let th admin officers know that it was very difficult to get the education under the crucial circumstances and still i did better or am i supposed to show that um quite capable of socializing and leading if i was given a chance ealier? as i have told u, in this new school i have started taking part and um da member of ma house teams but i think it needs practice in order to be truly made a captain of some team. i have started to learn the rules of the game but mastering within no time is (i think) ridiculous . all this may seem ambigious to u right now considering the fact that u r not aware of the intricate details but is it possible that only u and no one else gets 2 know them (through ur personal id perhaps) i do not want the whole world to empathize with me. not for the time being atleast.

i got my SAT 2 score.its 780 in bio,800 in chem and math level 2.do u think that i shud retake sat 1?(i had 1910 score) abt the not-so-good school!until a year back, i was in all the not-so-good schools.in these schools i was always the best student.i was always the first position holder but when it came to extra-curricular activities i sucked at them since the timings clashed with the studies. either i had to attend the classes or go for the games etc.naturally i preferd studies. i will be completing my last year at this very popular school.(i was admitted here in 2005 and graduating in 2007)this school,kgs,emphsised on both,studies and extra...hence i got into softball,throwball,societies and have started learning french.i have kept my academic record straight.its just that i am a more confident person and wud have been the headgirl had i have access to all these facilities that my competitors had.(they are applying to harvard as well)

well thx. the stat said about 11 students from my country got admitted to ug harvard but i truly hav no idea abt their schools since i am studying in the best institution in the whole of pakistan(that's a fact........no arrogance on my part).a couple of tough students including the deputy headgirl and the headgirl are applying and i have tough competition unless d admission officers are looking for diversity within the pool of applicants from pakistan.

hey dont get discouraged.just present urself well and get into the college of ur choice.it may sound impossible but who knows u will be throwing ur favourite uni's hat in the air on the graduation day.best of luck.

:hmm:ummm... we dont have the gpa system but i got 10 As in my O levels and 5 As in my AS level.i am not satisfied with my 1910 SAT score and am expecting my SAT 11 score on the 21st dec.

hi there! i am an international student. i dont know whether to apply to harvard for my undergrad degree ?????? i do have decent enough grades but is life at harvard that nerve shattering.:rolleyes: Also are colleges like pomona and claremont mckenna worth trying. i would like to hear ur answers at peeno_nisfa@hotmail.com
