  1. For graduate interns: Longs ~$40/hr Rite Aid > $40/hr
  2. As far as I know, they don't fire interns because of the fact they failed the exam. My 2 other friends in California, both of them are on H1-B, had failed the MPJE but they did survive without being fired because of that. I believe (maybe want to believe) chain pharmacies don't treat interns/pharmacists differently solely based on their immigration status.
  3. It took me about 2 weeks to receive the NABP official application for license transfer. This was June 2007, when online application was not available yet. FYI, I called NJ Board this morning to have an approximate timeframe of the license transfer process. They said that it normally takes about 3 MONTHS! from the date the application is received by the board. Maybe sooner or longer. When I did the same thing with PA board, it took me a month to get licensed (12 days to receive an ATT letter, and 11 days to get a license number after MPJE testing). Does it really take 3 months to get licensed or to get an ATT letter???
  4. Hi, I'm a PA pharmacist, planning to get my license reciprocated to NJ. I've just submitted the preliminary application for license transfer to NABP. Since I got my PA license through license transfer using my IN license, I know how long it took to get it done in PA. It took about 10 days from the date that I submitted a complete application to PA board to receive a letter of eligibility for MPJE. I'm just wondering if anyone has an idea how long it would normally take to get ATT from NJ Board. It would be great to hear from someone who has gotten NJ license either by examination or by transfer (or reciprocation). Thanks in advance.
