i didn't get the the term LBO shops( is this one of the esoteric terms used by B schools students and grads:p ).But i meant eneterprenur engaged in the manufacturing activities.I mean although these ppl are street smart and know the nuasances of their trade they do admit that discipline of the curriculum would have been a great help. when i ineteracted with couple of them they admitted that when they started their businesses they didn't feel the need to have the formal education but when in the later period when this need was felt they were so engrossed with their activities that it was impossible for them to withdraw and dedicate the time to b school. on the contrary another one was of the view that he does not really feel the need for the formal education because in his view the ability of the eneterprenur to hire good set of ppl is important than to have this kind of formal education.

agreed,but i have talked to many enterprenurs and they have agreed that even they don't have the formal B school degree when they start on their own,they tend to find it restraining not to have the formal b school education especially when it comes to reaching the next level.

i will try to find our the golden mean of the opinions of u too. although the importance of innate enterprenurial abilities can not be denied ,an individual would definately benifit from formal business education imparted in the schools which has probably become inevitable due to the globalisation and faster integration of world economies.Thsese two processes has rewritten many business rules. any takers?

there is no comfort as home..... the anxiety one faces in the testing environment can not be felt (however one tries)when one gives the exams siting in the comforts of ones home.Best way for u is to take some coaching clasees which provide such tests in the real testing environment.Are u from India? if yes.indiatimes has started such testing center(and rates are reasonable INR 1200 for 5 tests).I think it would be usefull to get the feel of the testing environment to the least.

hey guys i was talking to my friend and he said that he got the following question in his verbal section(i found it on this site)Pl let me know the difficulty level of this question. I still don't know how to console the poor guy..but i am trying my best...here is the question.. hi guys, I cldn’t understand whr I should put this question so I am putting it here. A couple of days back one my friends took GMAT and scored 44 in quant and 20 in verbal.He is saying that he knew that he screwed in quant since he panicked when he saw the clock indicating that he has exceeded his break by 5 minutes(although he claimed that it would be a stretch to say that anybody can take a break for 15 mins and not knowing that it altogether). When he started the verbal he said he got all clues such as two science paras,and few very difficult CRs withing the first 20 or so questions, indicating that he is doing well in verbal.but he was devastated when he ended the verbal section and saw the 20 as his verbal score.He is not just able to analyze wht exactly went wrong and now suapecting the software or the faulty unofficial score(?????). My query is – Can an unofficial and official score differ?or is it possible for the software to err. Pl share ur experiences and opinions Thanks
