  1. Hi ladypharma 2002, I would say don't waste your money, from my personal experience, I have spent nearly $ 4000 on this whole process of FPGEC certificate. The net result is no job offers, even if you can able to find one no H1B visas. I tried to contact the employers and finally got an offer from a chain store ending in losing the H1B visa lottery. Next year its even going to be tougher, the backlog in H1B visa losers will add to the next years quota and no pharma chain stores will be willing to do H1B and try their luck in lottery by spending huge fees for the attorney for preparing H1B petition. Also the future of foreign pharmacist is not that shining. Riteaid bought the Eckerd stors, many stores are closing due to the presence of both stores in the near proximity. So they have surplus of pharmacist to meet their needs in excess. Result is no recruitment at Rite aid for foreign pharmacists for the near future. Already, CVS had shut their doors for foreign pharmacy interns, now Rite aid and eckerd closes. Left is only Walgreens, for how many people do you think walgreens can offer. Two years before, Walgreens filed nearly 120 H1B visas. This is no where when compared to 3000 FPGEE exam takers. So, the game is over, the Foreign pharmacists either green card holder , dependents of the software Engineer and the students communities in the 2000- 2003 had better prospects and taken full advantage of the situation. But now, the situation is not that enccouraging. So, whovever , already in US can try their luck but people from abroad planning to give this FPGEE, please dont waste your time and money, instead try to concentrate on Austrlia or Canadian exam, atleast you are sure about the job and citizenship. I am not discouraging any one personally, but I would like to give the current scenario in US. Note: I am here at US thinking of becoming US pharmacist and wasted huge dollars, time and career. Good Luck Anthony

Hi, Please check your private message and respond. Thanks Anthony
  4. Hi, Is there anyone out there still waiting for news from walgreens regarding H1B. Please share your status, so that we can judge whether this wait is sensible. Heard that people started getting the returned applications. Much worried on my fate. Praise the Lord Anthony
  5. Hi, Is there any chance of increase in Cap?, like they did in the past.
  6. USCIS takes more than 4 -7 days to issue the receipt number for the first few thousand applications, how come they can count more than 150000 applications on a day. Please read the rumours page on murthy.com, mentioning the similar rumour last year saying that cap was met on the 1st day. I think the website showing this flash news, just want to publize their law firm, when no other law firm in whole US can have this information. No need to panic, don't ever pass this kind of information without any authenticity from USCIS. cheers!

  8. Any idea! When the legal dept. of the chain stores will file the H1B application. Has any one heard from the legal dept of the chain stores regarding this. Do they let us know when they are going to file? Since, even if they delay couple of days could cost us more than 1 year without job. How we can make sure that the chain stores filed the application and also when they will let us know the file number. Any advice from the senior pharmacists working in the chain stores. Thanks. Antony

    FPGEC certificate

For those waiting for FPGEC certificates: The good news is that, NABP has issued my certificate within 2 weeks after they received my TOEFL-IBT score. Hoping that you guys waiting for the certificate will receive soon.
  13. hi, what is the version number of the cards antony
  14. Hi Mitocondria, So, you are also in the same boat, when did you submitted your ibt scores? Nowadays, I think NABP is not that bad like in the past to issue certificate after 4-6 months. The reason is not I dont see any posts in this forum for certificates in the recent past. Anyway, lets share whenever we receive the certificate.
  15. I would appreciate if some one can tell me the time frame to issue Defficiency letter for Intern license from Florida Board of Pharmacy. Thanks, antony
