HI Igorus, the adm fever is catching up!! My field of interest is comparative politics; Submitted couple of papers on land disputes for my masters..distinction for my thesis,participated in one conf at LSE..no publ so far! (Hee..tht sounds pretty dark for me too) and worked for a UNDP project on child labor. Since the deadlines are past...i might just have to stay put for the year nxt if i dont make it for this fall!! long wait..best of luck to you too!!

A stress reliever true it is!! I might have taken a risk applying for only the ivys..but then i didnt want to apply to anyother after my masters from LSE. Thnaks for responding...right now am in the waiting phase ..lets hope for some good news!

Hi , I have been following this forum from almost an year. its really very encouraging when some come back with encouraging feedback/advice. I'd be very happy if some of you could help me out : I am applying for PhD (Political science/ government) 2007 Fall session. I have a 4.0 GPA in my UG (a vv saml college) and 3.8 in grad from lse. I have a three yrs work experience with an NGO which was awarded the magsaysay in 2003. no publ :( My gre score is 1250 (680v 570q 4.5essay) Applied for princeton yale cornell columbia harvard uchicago DO u think i'd stand any chance?

hi shrugginatlas u got a goood gre score..am applying for polisci phd too. got a 1250 in gre and have a masters from lse, cud anyone tell me my chances to ge into any ivy, with 4.0 gpa in ug and 3.84 in grad. many thanks
