  1. A quick update - I got accepted by GATech today for MS in Computer Science - College of Computing (email notification, package to arrive via snail mail soon). I'm absolutely delighted :D.
  2. gtp - Yep, you are right. I called them up yesterday and they told me that my application was being reviewed (atleast it's not a rejection just yet :hmm:). The annoying bit is that they will not email/call to inform us of an admit. They will post the letters sometime in April, and given that it takes atleast 10 days for snail mail to reach me from the US, it might just be too late
  3. Sorry to hear about that Mystic. Any luck with other universities?
  4. Thanks :) I was referring to University of Washington by UW.
  5. I got an email last week with a rejection.
  6. I applied for MS Computer Science (Game Development) there and haven't heard a word since - my app was complete by mid December. Does this mean I'm out of contention? I'd really appreciate any responses - I did get in there as an undergrad and declined :(
  7. Well, I'm waiting to hear from: 1) USC 2) GATech 3) U Maryland 4) UNC: Chapel Hill 5) Cornell I got rejections from Purdue, UIUC, and UW so far.
  8. Got an offer from UPenn for MS in computer graphics and gaming - my first admit :D, no financial assistance though. GRE: V- 630, Q- 800, Writing- 5.5/6 Subject GRE : 810 (82%) GPA : ~3.7 (top 5% in class) How do you folks rate the UPenn graduate program? Does no financial assistance imply no TA/RA as well or may I apply for those later?
  9. Hi all, I'm contemplating if I ought to send my subject GRE score in CS to the top universities - I scored 810 (82%). I really should have done a lot better (undergrad gpa is 3.7 and I have a paper published at an international conference). My GRE score is 1430 (800q, 630v, 5.5/6 a) . I'm applying to UW, UIUC, GATech, Cornell, Purdue and UPenn amongst other places. Should I send in my subject GRE scores? Cheers!
